Vehicle Fire at Norge Food Lion

Firefighters from the James City-Bruton Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Norge Food Lion on Saturday, May 11th. The vehicle was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, and they quickly extinguished the fire before it spread to surrounding vehicles. No injuries were reported. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Residential Structure Fire

Rescue 1 from the James City-Bruton Volunteer Fire Department supported the James City County Fire Department at a residential structure fire in Greensprings Plantation subdivision on April 8th.

Tractor Trailer Stuck in Median

Firefighters from the James City-Bruton Volunteer Fire Department responded to I-64 East in the area of Exit 231 for a tractor trailer that went off the roadway and became stuck in the median. Rural Water Supply
